Evangelos Rekkas was born in Tripolis, Greece, in 1984. He obtained his diploma from the Computer Engineering & Informatics Department (CEID) of the University of Patras (Greece) in October 2007. Next, he was accepted in the postgraduate program “Computer & Informatics Engineering” at the same department and on February 2009 he obtained his Master Degree. Simultaneously, he was wornking as an R&D Engineer at the Research Academic Computer Technology Institute (RACTI) in Patras. Since June 2010 he serves as a Researcher at the University of Athens, in the context of various EU-funded ICT Projects, including SACRA and CONSERN. His research interests focus on Radio Resource Management and energy efficiency in Mobile and Cognitive Networks.
