George Katsikas

Mr. George Katsikas has received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. (with honours, ranked 1st in his class) diplomas from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, NKUA in 2010 and 2012 respectively. He serves as a research fellow in the Self-Evolving Cognitive and Autonomic Networking (SCAN) Group of NKUA and has already participated in Self-NET, PANLAB, SACRA, Co-N-Sern and UniverSelf EU- funded ICT Projects. Parts of his work have been published in several conferences. His main research interests are Cloud computing and networking, network management, machine learning, B3G communication systems and Software Engineering. Since February 2011, he is also a laboratory assistant in Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, for the courses “Communication Networks” and “’Software Development for Telecommunications”.
